Kyro Carter


Kyro Carter is President of Ole Skool Inc., “A global social media network” bridging the gap of communication between the U.S. states and nations around the world.  As Vice President of the Oahu Veterans Council of Hawaii and board member of Oahu Veterans Center, he coordinates the collective efforts of the many Oahu’s veteran organizations throughout Hawaii.  While studying psychology at Hawaii Pacific University (HPU), he helped established and was nominated Vice President to President of the newly formed Student Veterans Organization of Hawaii Pacific University.


With childhood roots in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he worked with many local neighborhood community organizations to improve the quality of life throughout the “City of Brotherly Love and Sisterly Affection.”  As an East Parkside resident he was a member of the East Parkside Community council and helped established the neighborhood Crime Watch program.  He worked with Penn State medical students and the African Methodist Church to establish a pilot community health initiative for East Parkside providing basic medical and dental screenings for residents and children.


He serve an extensive career in the U. S. Air Force,  where he worked in many countries and throughout the U.S. as an administrator, classified security manager, disaster preparedness specialist, honor guard, Tuskegee Charter Member and Information Manager.  He deployed on many occasions in support of the Cold War, Desert Shield, Desert Storm and War on Terrorism.


Upon completing his long tour duty in the Air Force, he trained at The Seafarers Harry Lundeberg School of Seamanship at the Paul Hall Maritime Center to become a Merchant Marine working abroad on ships.
